Judging has finished! Congradulations to all participants, I hope you had fun

Welcome to Amature-manip's second official contest! This time our contest's topic was voted on and our fellow members chose for specific stock to be selected. I have carefully hunted out two very high quality stock images, that I believe introduce a large number of creative oportunities. For this contest you must use both images in some way, using at least one of them as a main focus. Please be sure to credit the images (and any others used) in your artists comments and include a short description of how you used the images.




Each member is limited to 2 submissions for this contest. All submissions will be submitted to our collections and this journal. Top three submissions will be featured in a news journal and will be awarded additional prizes! Please send all submissions to the club in a note titled "Contest submission". I hope to see what creative images are submitted this time around!

Submissions:

The wining submissions, with a few comments from the both of us judges while we were deciding (so you know what we were thinking!)

1)
-I love the almost human quality she brings to the car in an abstract image. It makes my imagination bubble!
-I love the bright colours and bold, surreal style.
2)
-This one was quite amusing, I think they did a good job integrating both images into the setting. The colors were right, and the plants didn't look awkward at all.
-Such inventive, creative stock use
3)
-I love the tone of the image. The beads of water look like they are hiding a poisonous secret, as they so delicately hang from and rest on the plant.


Please pay respect to the runners up aswell! Everyone did a great job, I was so happy to see such unique ideas tossed around. I really had fun putting this contest together and I hope you had fun pushing your minds to their limits!
